Bryce Canyon Winter Festival
Something for everyone!
The Bryce Canyon Winter Festival is held annually at Ruby’s Inn over Presidents’ Day Weekend in February. The three day event features free clinics and workshops in cross country skiing, snowshoeing, archery, photography, kayaking and more. Ski and snowshoe tours explore areas of Bryce Canyon National Park and the surrounding forests. Dutch oven cooking demonstrations are very popular. Kids and adults cross country ski races are held on Presidents Day.
The Bryce Canyon Rim Run is a 5 mile trail run / walk through the ponderosa forests and meadows near Bryce Canyon National Park and overlooks parts of Bryce Canyon. The race starts in front of Bryce View Lodge and finishes across the street at Ruby’s Inn. There are both running and walking divisions. Participants are eligible for awards and random prizes and each participant receives a colorful t-shirt, a post-race lunch, refreshments, and entertainment.
The Bryce Canyon Rim Run is held annually the Saturday before Labor Day weekend. Proceeds benefit the local Boy Scouts Troop 679.
