Where to Ride

The Canyon 2 Canyon Trail is the area's signature ride: a paved, 20-mile route connecting Red Canyon to Bryce Canyon National Park past hoodoos and red rock the whole way, easy to intermediate difficulty, and open to hikers and skiers in winter too.

For mountain trails, riders head to:

  • Casto Canyon Trail — 5.5 miles one-way (or a 14.4-mile loop) through red rock formations once ridden by Butch Cassidy
  • Thunder Mountain Trail — 7.8 miles through ponderosa pine forest into red rock country; intermediate to hard
  • Losee Canyon Trail — 2.9 miles, connecting into Casto Canyon and Red Canyon for a longer ride

Bikes are also permitted on the paved trail and roads inside Bryce Canyon National Park.
