Red Canyon Horseback Rides in the Bryce Canyon Area
Rides are in the Red Canyon Area and feature the Old Butch Cassidy Outlaw Trails.
Half Day Ride

$55.00 per person
A 3-hour ride through the beautiful red rocks of Losee Canyon in Red Canyon. Enjoy the shade of mountain trails, and see the same country as Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch experienced over 100 years ago and pass an old outlaw hideout. At the half-way point is the rest area where you can stretch out and listen as wranglers tell tall stories. Children must be at least 7 years old. Rides leave daily at 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
All Day Ride
$90.00 per person (Includes a box lunch)
5 to 6 hour ride
Casto Canyon and Losee Canyon are your backdrop as you venture through Red Canyon. This ride includes more trails once mastered by the infamous Butch Cassidy in his glory days. On this ride you will see several different backdrops and pass through an area called the Little Desert. Picture Death Valley surrounded by Red Canyon. Riders novice to experienced will enjoy this all day adventure. Children must be at least 10 years old. Leaves daily at 8:30 a.m.
Minnie's Favorite!
$40.00 per person
1-½ hour ride through beautiful Losee Canyon. Ride through the red rock canyon and see some hoodoos. If you are short on time and want to make great western memories, this is the ride for you. Children must be at least 7 years old. Rides leave daily at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Some rides may have weight restrictions.
Bring water, camera, and (jacket in spring & fall).
All prices include Tax, Fees & Transportation to Trail Head.
Thunder Mountain Horseback Ride Package
The Thunder Mountain Trail provides one of the best horseback rides in the Bryce region. It starts at the bottom and ends at the top of Red Canyon. This breathtaking Bryce area scenery serves as your backdrop. The Thunder Mountain Trail with its switchbacks and narrow backbones will leave you with an experience that you will remember for years to come. This ride is not recommended for fist time riders. Children must be at least 10 years old.

Western Adventure Package
Our Western Adventure Package includes a standard room for two at Bryce View Lodge, plus a half-day horseback ride (3 1/2 hours) into beautiful Red Canyon.
An experienced cowboy wrangler, familiar with the area's history and the natural wonders, leads our guests through spectacular red rock country.
This package is offered from April 1st through October 31. The rides will begin at 8:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.. We require 48 hour advance cancellation of horseback rides. Second nights will be at net room rate. Ride times and dates are subject to availability and weather permitting.
