Half Day Horseback Riding

$95 per person


Approximate 3-hour ride through the beautiful red rocks of Losee Canyon in Red Canyon. Enjoy the shade of mountain trails, and see the same country as Butch Cassidy experienced over 100 years ago and pass an old outlaw hideout.

Children must be at least 7 years old. Rides leave daily at 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Recommended Riding Experience: Beginner to experienced riders.

All Day Rides

(Includes a box lunch) 5 to 6 hour ride

Casto Canyon and Losee Canyon are your backdrop as you venture through Red Canyon. This ride includes more trails once mastered by the infamous Butch Cassidy in his glory days. On this ride you will see several different backdrops and pass through an area called the Little Desert. Picture Death Valley surrounded by Red Canyon. Riders novice to experienced will enjoy this all day adventure. 

Children must be at least 10 years old. This ride is NOT recommended for first time riders. Leaves daily at 8:30 a.m.

Recommended Riding Experience: Intermediate to experienced riders.

Approximate 1-½ hour ride through beautiful Dixie National Forest to the rim of Bryce Canyon National Park. See Water Canyon Amphitheatre, the first canyon in Bryce Canyon. On the way back to the corral you will ride over Bristlecone Pine Ridge with standing 1500 year old Bristlecone Pine trees.

If you are short on time and want to make great western memories, this is the ride for you. 

Children must be at least 7 years old. Rides leave daily at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Recommended Riding Experience: Beginner to experienced riders.

Thunder Mountain Ride

$100 per person



The Thunder Mountain Trail provides one of the best horseback rides in the Bryce region. It starts at the bottom and ends at the top of Red Canyon. This breathtaking Bryce Canyon area scenery serves as your backdrop. The Thunder Mountain Trail with its switchbacks and narrow backbones will leave you with an experience that you will remember for years to come. 

Children must be at least 10 years old. This ride is approximately a 4 hour ride. Departs daily at 8:30AM (during summer months).

Recommended Riding Experience: Intermediate to experienced Riders

All horseback rides may have weight and height restrictions.
Bring water, camera, and (jacket in spring & fall).
